    "My son is just about to finish Kindergarten, and Saltzman has been a wonderful experience for him. The principal is absolutely amazing. We love, love my son's Kindergarten teacher - the staff at SEM has shown so much support for my son, and he has learned so much this year."

    "Amazing Staff, my son came into this school with special needs and I found the staff very supportive. Farmingdale SD offered my son a one on one aide to help hom through his school day. In the end my son was redirected to a BOCES program that is fully funded through the school district and is doing great! Thank You Farmingdale Schools!"

    "Not an extremely pleasant experience here. Unless your child is already bright don't expect too much. Wonderful teachers but not much is said for Administration helping those with learning disabilities. For a principal that pushes so much on reading literacy the ELA test scores tell a differnt story. I believe that if something isn't broken don't fix it but something is broken here and must be fixed."

    "We are very happy with this school. I have 2 boys in this school grades 2nd and 4th. They are both extremely bright and love to read. S.E.M. really focuses on reading and writing. I have to also say that Eve Derringer and Penny Fisher (principal and assistant principal) are both amazing and care so much for all of the children in this school. We love Satzman!"

    "We are very please with the school. We have a daughter that did all her elementary there and she is very good academic wise and in other areas. Our other daughter is in first grade and she is receiving all the attention that she needs. The extracurricular activities are great and parents are always welcome. The principal is very involve and she cares deeply about the children.The teachers are great, knowledgeable and also care much about the children. In general we think this is a good school. We have not found anything to dissappointed us and we are happy that our daughters came to this school."
