"I am a senior at SHS. In contrast to the first comment, I would like to commend our dedicated and inspiring faculty members, who do in fact encourage a creative and educational atmosphere and who can be found going above and beyond what is asked of them in every spectrum of school life. I definitely appreciate our small classes and the fact that each one of my teachers will donate their spare time and attention to students if those students desire help, whether it's after school or during teachers' personal lunch periods. Our small size does prevent us from having all of the course selections of a larger school, but students can pursue a range of interests in a variety of technology, writing, fine art/graphic art, science, math and other courses. It's a very personal environment, and any student who wants to do well surely will with the invaluable resources offered."
