"Its ok but it could be better food teachers and a few things that involve others could be a lot better."

"SVHS is a huge school whose primary focus is athletics. If you're interested in fine arts, forget it. Choir is a joke, taught at the elementary level. They don't even have an orchestra. Band works harder than football but is no fun. Cliques and competition are fierce. If you're a redneck, or jock you'll love it. Not for intellectuals or those who appreciate individuality. Very homogenous. Suicides every other year due to bullying and pressure. Administration disciplines based on social status."

"Way to much focus on sports like football and baseball. Needs to encourage intellectual pursuits and the arts. Too much preferential treatment of athletes."

"Throughout the duration of high school I was able to experience many different things. The teachers were helpful when asked, and the facilities were mostly clean clean. The diversity in the school, however, was slim. I wish there were more teachers that cared about the well-being of the students."

"The AP teachers made me so prepared for college, I feel like I'm taking a step back in level of difficulty. I am so well prepared for my future because of SVHS, even if the Rangers are lacking in diversity and culture. If you get involved with good student organizations and take advanced classes, you will be well prepared for life after high school."
