"Great teachers - and they take the time to get to know each child individually. Smaller class sizes."

"This school has been a huge disappointment. As a parent of a special needs (autistic and vision impaired) child, I expected more from an exemplary school. We just moved here and the previous non-exemplary school was more equipped and staffed to help my child succeed. This school has only set back my child who absolutely cannot have any more set-backs! They have no idea how to accommodate any special needs students, and that includes the principals and therapists!"

"We have recently relocated to the area and are very happy with Powell. This was my daughters first year of school and her kindergarden teacher was the Best. I am really going to miss her. She made my daughter feel welcome and comfortable! She has become very confident in all aspects. I feel our family made a great decision by sending our child to this school, and very lucky to have had Mrs. Harris for her kindergarden teacher!"

"I am a parent of an autistic child and I found the school environment was not suitable for special needs children--to be fair I do not feel that public schools are equipped to meet the specific needs that these children require."
