"Lemm Elementary is not a good school. From the top (Principal Brown) to the bottom (parent volunteers) there is a culture of confrontation and us-vs.-them mentality when it comes to dealing with parents. We are fortunate, because our kids only had to spend one year at Lemm. Thankfully, Klein ISD re-zoned our subdivision to a different school. Principal Brown does not have control of the environment, and teachers and parent volunteers behave accordingly. No accountability."

"My son is in the Gifted and Talented Program at this school and I have been nothing short of impressed everytime that I have visited or volunteered. Even on rainy days, the staff and the children assist in escorting other kids that don't have umbrellas to the school's entrance. The teachers and the curriculum are extraordinary. The teachers also do a great job in explaining thier expectations to the kids and working iwith them to achieve them. I look forward to my 18 month old joining the school."

"My children are currently in this school. The lack of teacher dedication, compassion, and optimism saddens me. My children have been in this school for three years, each year it has gotten worse. The teachers my children have been affiliated with have been extremely negative. I am a firm believer in correcting negative behaviors and praising positive ones. I also believe that teachers help to shape who our children will become. Children admire and embrace them. So, when negative comments are made to the child and then repeated to the parent, that is unacceptable. The principal and many of the teacher should be required to have diversity classes. They should also, to look beyond the surface and realize that many times there may be an underlying issue."

"All five of my children have gone to Lemm. We have had WONDERFUL experiences with each of them. Is it a perfect school...no, but I don't think those exist. The principal has an open door policy and truly cares about the needs of her students as well as her staff. I have found all of my childrens teachers to be wonderful, caring educators. As for the parent who posted on May 27th, you should really research things a little before you complain. The police pull people over because they are BREAKING THE LAW! The school has nothing to do with the traffic laws. There is a sign very clearly posted on Joan Leigh (the road in front of the school) that says 'No left turn' and gives specific times. Do you honestly think that the police will pull people over because they aren't following 'drop off pecedure' ?"
