"When my grandmother sent me to this school I couldn't read because my mother never took me to school prior . This school truly understands the meaning of discipline . Before I had non. My teacher was Ms . Dupre , and she made me call her mam all the time which was weird for me at first because I'm from California and well we just don't say mam here , but I think with there srtict emphasis on values I learned a lot ."

"My daughter has been at ORE from K and is now in 4th. All of her teachers have been caring, involved, creative, and not afraid to challenge the kids. They really took the reins on letting her spend portions of her day (starting in K) with upper grades so she'd be challenged, since official GT testing isn't until 2nd grade. All her teachers including the 4th grade team have been fantastic at balancing the kids' need for social activities while preparing them academically and responsibility-wise for the next level school experience (bigger classes, more teachers, and according to my daughter: OMG lockers!). I always feel welcome when I visit the school and they remember my name and my kid. The kids are never just numbers. The principal, vice principal, and counselor are always available and treat the children with respect and kindness."

"My child attended this school kinder - 4th grade. K - 3rd was a wonderful experience. The teachers were very caring and encouraging to all the children. They all had a lot of experience. They deserve NBA salaries. The 4th grade team needs improvement. A couple of them need to seek employment outside the field of education. PTO is small, but does a good job with limited resources. They really don't have enough help, and could use more. It would be helpful if the administration showed sincere appreciation for the help they do get."

"I rate this school a five my children have been there since they 4 and i love all the teachers and how warm and friendly the staff is especially the office. I work with parents as well and it always feels good walking in ORE and seeing the same staff who have been there for a long time."
