"I would have to say the best teachers are usually found in the Honors/AP courses. Their lessons are engaging, for example, my Honors English teacher, Mrs. Johnson, always gave lessons relating to conformity in the world and how we could be the ones to change the damaging effects of it. Although grading was not consistent, it really depended on the quality of our work. On the other hand, I was placed in a regular/core Chemistry class that felt completely different. The teacher at times had no control over the class, the students were rarely interested in what the teacher taught, and I never really felt inspired to do more outside the classroom."

"There are some teachers that could be more engaging and motivating, although some teachers do make learning interesting."

"The teachers are very great. They would listen, help you if you are struggling, and support you. Some teacher would talk about the life outside the world and are very open about their opinion and others ideas. They would tried to make lesson very easy by trying to teach related stuff then getting on with the real hard part. They would also grade base on your hardwork and of course what you learned."

"Most of the teachers I have had here at Mount Miguel are friendly and strive for a good relationship with their students. They encourage us to get involved with clubs and sports. I even had one teacher that would help us with any subject. However, I have also had some teachers that only teach you because its their job. These are the ones that don't engage on a deeper level with students. I had one teacher that many times, claimed she was "too tired to teach," so she would put her head down at her desk and fool around with the students throughout the entire period. This occurred not just once or twice, but on many occasions. When she did teach us, it was usually only for less than 30 minutes out of a 2 hour class period. The rest of the time, we spent doing worksheets. She would also often yell at students who frequently asked for help. Needless to say, I had a tough time in that class. I've even had two teachers that didn't even know my name and didn't even remember that I was even in their class after an entire semester."

"In my freshman year, I was excited about school because it was fun and most students had great pride in the school. However, as my class progressed, pride is basically at a 0/100 for the entire school. Now, I am just excited to graduate and not have come back to this school everyday. I don't have anything against the staff or school work because generally, they are nice and school is relatively easy for me. However, the vibe at this school is not a good one. No one has pride in the school and we all dread coming hare and look forward to leaving. Most people just stick to their own groups. There is little participation and no unity among classes or even within classes."
