"Overall, Atlantic High School is good. Compared to Creek, Atlantic's student population is quite small. So walking down the hall isn't a train wreck, student /teacher relations are good, etc.. Every school has its negatives. In Atlantic's case, bathrooms aren't kept in perfect shape and safety isn't 100% ensured, but hey. Our campus is entirely outside, good on sunny/cool days, yet a bit rough on rainy/ hot days. Amongst my years at Atlantic, the school's repetation has increased from past years. We have been successful at things we weren't before. The band has nearly tripled in size and sounds good; other clubs and sports have done quite well also. The teachers overall are quite nice too, and know what they are doing when it comes to their subjects."

"Atlantic College was a pretty good experience for me. The AP classes offered helped for my college readiness. I really enjoyed the HEMS (now AIMS) academy."

"I liked the dual enrollment program with the local community college (Daytona State College). My teachers made everything clear. I liked the variety of learning options Atlantic offered. I'd like to see a lot more AP courses and the "pre-ACT'' course that the ACT offers for those interested in potentially taking the ACT."

"I enjoyed Atlantic's small class sizes. However, nearly every member of the faculty could use an attitude adjustment. They are rude and unpleasant to deal with 98% of the time. Also, I feel as though students that attend Atlantic are disrespected and made out to be less successful or qualified. Since Mr. Tager has become principal the school has seen some improvements as far as the landscape goes but could definitely use some more. I am not proud to have been a shark, I am glad to be starting a college that is much more respected and reputable."

"Water wedges: All though when I eat them I feel as though I'm chewing water, the potato wedges served at lunch are surprising addicting as if they are seasoned with cocaine. After I eat them I feel like a true American: obese."
