"Excellent school!!! Great group of teachers and students!! The CJA program is outstanding!! Only thing that would be an upgrade is a new band director!!"

"I have been attending PPHS for going on 3 years now and I find it is a more or less decent school. However I am in the Criminal Justice Academy, much like many of the students whom have reviewed this school. You may want to note that students in the CJA program have a very different experience than mainstream PPHS students. We have our own teachers and staff. So if you are reading this review because you either want to attend or send your child to this school, you may want to keep that in mind. I would rate the CJA program a 4 out of 5. There are some great, passionate teathers in the program that go out of there way to make sure each student gets the education they need. While the program and school has its strong suits, there are also some departments that are very lacking, the science department inparticular. Some of the teachers have their heart in the right place, but simply don't have the knowledge necessary to give the students what they need to truly understand the topic. Others understand the topic, but refuse to teach their students. But other than this it is a good program. I couldn't give a well developed review on the mainstream portion for I am not a part of it."
