"My school is just a school, its a boring old building, but its the people in it who make my experience great. This school is involved in so many memories I have , like Mini- Thon to raise money for pediatric cancer, achieving in math classes, drawing and painting for the first time, and it actually did not turn out bad, swimming for 12 years through Wilson's Aquatics programs. It is not just a school you go to learn its a school you go to and participate in so many activities and crate so many memories with the people around you."

"The learning diversity of kids was too extreme. You had kids who just showed up so they wouldn't get in trouble and disrupted the class whenever possible mixed in with kids too smart for their own good. The elitism of the AP students was insane and the way you were treated if you were not one of them was shocking."

"The teachers, as I said previously are only so-so. The school itself puts way too much emphasis on AP courses and stresses out its students. Another huge flaw of the school is that if it's not focused on AP and stressing the heck out of its students, it's way too focused on sports. So much money goes unequally into sports and not into the Arts. We've had money actually removed from teh art budget to create a new stadium for our football team. There is at least one major thing that is fantastic about this school. It's the diversity. There's diversity among the students, the staff, and the course selections. There are many different kinds of students and teachers and there's such a wide range of courses to select from. It's a large school and overall it's okay/ There's always going to be good and bad things with any school."

"My teachers I have had at Wilson have been the best. I know multiply teachers where if I went to them and said I needed to talk and I was upset, that they would drop what they were doing and talk with me. That is hard to find sometimes. And I know if I went to a teacher and asked for help, even a teacher I had freshman year, they would help me with anything."

"Many that I've encountered are very sweet and willing to help, but there are also a bunch of not-so-great teachers. One in particular stands out. This teacher belittled his students and treated us like we were below him and he felt we were not worthy of his respect because we were not his AP Calculus class. A similar thing happened in my Algebra class many years ago. The teacher would poke fun at us, throw things at students, and would refuse to help me despite the amount of times I asked and my obvious trouble with his class. At the same time, I had two amazing science teachers my last two years here and they helped inspire me to pursue my Biology degree."
