"Some teachers work very hard to engage students and ensure they are understanding the material while others do not take the time to explain and attempt to shove too much information at once. Diligent teachers are much fewer than those who just want to finish their lessons plans."

"Because the school is so small with 50 students per grade it is hard to make new friends and instead you have to deal with the same faces everyday. There are also rarely have events outside of school and there is no athletic department which causes many students to not get involved."

"The academics are fun, in my opinion, but I've been told I'm strange. There are a variety of types of assignments in various classes. I'm sure everyone will have a favorite. English is wonderful here. College classes are easier than high school ones. There are a variety of college classes to take."

"If you can't relate to your high school sports teams and whatnot, you get to avoid all of that and yet still have the best mascot of all- the dragon. We don't have sports, and while some people consider it a downside, it was actually pretty nice. Occasionally we have fundraiser basketball or dodgeball though. It's a great place to go if you don't want the traditional high school experience. I would definitely do it over again. I wouldn't have it any other way. On the matter of parent involvement though, most of the parents I knew were awful. There are a couple true horror stories. Most students would do better on their own and are better off in college. Students having awful parents is not the fault of the school, however, so I don't see how that is relevant."
