"The academics are fun, in my opinion, but I've been told I'm strange. There are a variety of types of assignments in various classes. I'm sure everyone will have a favorite. English is wonderful here. College classes are easier than high school ones. There are a variety of college classes to take."

"It's very accepting towards sexual orientations, religions, races, disabilities, and a variety of other things. It's one of the greatest things about the school. I once made a documentary on it for the class and I asked the office how they dealt with conflicts about it and I received the answer "It thankfully isn't much of a problem here because most of our students are accepting." The school is lovely about it, and if people have problems, they can talk to the counselor, who is very open and friendly. Parents of students, however, are a different story, and may not be tolerant of their student's religion/sexual orientation or their student's friends' sexual orientation and religion. This was a major problem for most people I knew."

"The teachers are great. They are the best. I frequently see students (including myself) stop in to say hello from college when they are in town. The teachers care, try different things to ensure student understanding, and use technology effectively. They can communicate, are consistent graders (especially since it is a small school, so one teacher teaches a class on the high school level for the most part instead of hard teachers and easy teachers for the same class) and are overall wonderful people."

"If you can't relate to your high school sports teams and whatnot, you get to avoid all of that and yet still have the best mascot of all- the dragon. We don't have sports, and while some people consider it a downside, it was actually pretty nice. Occasionally we have fundraiser basketball or dodgeball though. It's a great place to go if you don't want the traditional high school experience. I would definitely do it over again. I wouldn't have it any other way. On the matter of parent involvement though, most of the parents I knew were awful. There are a couple true horror stories. Most students would do better on their own and are better off in college. Students having awful parents is not the fault of the school, however, so I don't see how that is relevant."
