"Great school that is very student-centered. Helping each child reach his/her potential is important in this school. Each child is viewed as God's creation and is lovingly accepted and nurtured for personal, spiritual and academic growth. Teachers are very willing to work with students' needs, and they invite parents to be involved in the education process. Smaller class sizes and an overall smaller school environment promote social interactions across age groups as well as among families. Your child and your family will be welcomed here."

"This is a school that focuses on education. I was concerned that the Christian school would be too strict or elitist, and it is the farthest thing from it. They love the children and are not hindered by the bureaucracy that plagues our public school system. Further, their academic standards are much better than the local public school system. (For example, they start language in 3rd grade in SCA, in Southern York County it is in high school). The teachers take time to work with the children and though the academics are good, the children are not pressured too much to be academics at the age of 3. The tuition is reasonable and the parents are made up of a variety of people that really want the best for their children and are involved. They have a completely open door policy and the parents are encouraged to stop in and be as involved in their child's education as possible. The administration is wonderful and they address any concerns or issues immediately. My son has grown and is truly happy and loves being there. This school is amazing and you can trust SCA with your children's education."

"In 2007-2008 year there were 160 students in what is now Shrewsbury Christian Academy. This is an exceptional school. My son loves it there. The teachers and staff go above and beyond when it comes to the children. In addition to their teaching of good moral character, academically, they breed excellence. If cost is an issue, there is a financial assistance program available as well and it costs nothing to inquire. I would recommend SCA."
