    "All we have done is listen to our grandaughter in tears. She is different, is diabetic different? she is smart so now she wants to be dumb. Bullying starts the minute we allow kids to think they can dictate mores to others and they are superior then others. It starts when adults, (I am not saying just teachers), say, "well, just smile and get along." I am tired of my grandaughter being beat on, abused, humiliated just because she is different. I commend you for having the guts to ask if there is a problem and to be searching out ways to resolve it. Thank you for allowing me this input."

    "The security practices at this school are so overly stringent, that parents are left feeling alienated and uninvolved in their children's education. Do not expect to go with them on field trips, walk them to class, join them for a party, or to be allowed in the school at all unless it is a designated 'parent' visitation time. The school CAN provide a safe environment without forboding parents to set foot on the campus. If you enjoy being involved in your child's school, this is definitely not the place for you."
