"Stratford High is in the Spring Branch School District. I have recently moved into the area. My daughter is a freshmen and she is loving it already. All of the staff that I have encountered are nice and helpful. The teachers are very encouraging and the school spirit is very enlightening."

"Stratford cares about sports. Period. Football essentially comes before everything else. The last few campus improvements involved renovating the field house, installing a new track, and building a gym. Never mind that they don't have an auditorium for band and such. On a more positive note, the teachers are great. They are willing to work with students and are very understanding. The principal, Paul Uttley, truly cares about the students."

"Awesome school and district.... My oldest son went to Stratford and is now in college and doing very well.. He was academically prepared for college because of his classes and teachers in High School.. My youngest son is doing super in High School in Stratford. We do love sports but their educations are the most important to me and I feel like this district has done a very good job of preparing them to be successful after they graduate..."

"This school does give a student what it needs academically but it is an extremely sports centered school...so if you are not a cheerleader, athlete, or in the band supporting the athletic teams....i think it would be very hard to find a place where you would fit in."
