"Parkwood needs lots of help to become a better school for my children."

"This school has improved throughout the years. The staff and parents are more committed than any other year. There are more after school programs that focus on reading, math, and writing also fine arts;including art club, chess club, knitting club, etc. The behavior has improved dramatically from the use of PBIS. This school is a great inspiration to other school's that were on AYP watch."

"Very limited extra circular activities for kids. No math club or reading club. No after school help is provided."

"Thhis school is a work in progress. This school has to deal with a lot more issues than most of the other schools have to. The focus of this school is the behavior issues that some parents ignore at home. This lack of parent involvement means that teachers have to be more involved in soving these behavior issues and this takes time away from students who don't have to deal with this issue."
