"We had one bad experience with a chemistry teacher last school year with regard to his teaching styles and interest in my student. Overall the teachers are of good quality."

"School is getting better with sexual orientation, I think with every year it will be more prevelant. This year we had an issue with racial slurs by our football team, there was alot of publicity, and lots of conversations about what really happened. I think peer pressure is no better or worse at our school than at any school full of teenagers."

"All in all, I think we are offered a good amount of academics. I think we have good teachers for the most part, but have found a few extremely unhelpful teachers and teachers, who teach one way and give a test on material never learned. I had a teacher last year, who was so bad, I had to hire a tutor outside the school! This should not happen. Don't get me wrong, we are a very large school, and there are only a handful that are not the best! Our school offers AP Classes, and I love that, however, not sure if we are being tought all that we should in order to get a good mark on AP tests. We were also told that colleges accept 3, 4 or 5 for credit, however, I have found, in my search for schools, that is not the case, most only accept 4 or 5. The workload is average I would say. I think improvement could be made to not have more than one AP exam on one day at the end of the year, but I am aware that in college we will have more than one final each day (probably). All in all, happy with my school."

"Excluding the occasional teacher who doesn't try as hard as they could, 99% of the teachers at my school go above and beyond. Every student that I know have at least two teachers who they always talk to and can definitely trust. Even teachers that students aren't 100% close to still manage to make a positive impression. The teachers at Brunswick clearly care about their students and are very much so qualified for the jobs which they perform. After years of watching them work, they have become some of the top people who my peers (and myself) view as role models."
