"I am proud to be from La Joya High School. I love my school. I've met people in the extra curricular activities I'm apart of, and those people have impacted my life very positively. They've made me the strong individual I am today."

"Because of the classes I take, I have teachers who do care about us and help us strive to be excellent. It's usually teachers with low classes who don't do their job above and beyond."

"Parent involvement depended on the parent's time schedule, sometimes in events there wasn't as much parents engaging in the activity. But if it concerned their children greatly, there was always mass of parents showing up to support and ask questions or concerns to their and other children's needs."

"When I was in high school, a lot of my teachers that were also participating in clubs would do everything in their power to help students whether it be inside or outside of the class. They were determined to motivate the students and not only help them learn but experience life lessons through the process. There wasn't a moment that I felt left behind, because they were always there nudging me forward to success."
