"My overall experience was great. I had the pleasure to meet many new people and it impacted my character in a positive way. I had some great memories during my freshmen and sophomore years such as being known as a "dodgeball king," and during my junior and senior year I became more popular. Sunnyside is best known for its educational purposes and continues to rise in graduation rate percentage. Although all the memories were awesome, I think the reason I would go back to this school if "I could do it all over again" is because the environment around me helped me become the person I am today."

"My overall experience at this school has been spectacular due to all the things the school offers. I have been fortunate enough to have a program named Gear Up that helps the student body with their furtures, such as prepping us for the ACT's and SAT's in order to be acknowledged by our prefered college. They also take time off their personal affairs for students to apply for scholarships. The most important task they accomplish is to create a post-secondary plan for each individual student who asks at the high school. This is what I call true dedication to the student body."

"How much the teachers are involved in your grades they make sure you pass your classes and help you to stay on track"

"Academics is really great in my opinion, not the best but they are really helpful. The teachers are understanding and explain problems quite good. The amount of homework depends on the teacher but is manageable if you are willing to study. Also the Advanced Placement courses are challenging, but if you put in the time and effort you can succeed."

"Student Culture & Diversity is not bad at all. The students all treat each other with respect. The pressure on students based on their race is very low. There hasn't been incidents of racism being a problem and everybody is friendly. Sexual orientation is nonetheless nothing to worry about because nobody really cares."
