"My son just entered sixth grade and had a difficult transition, but the structure was helpful in that sixth graders stayed together as a team for the most part to ease into the middle school routine. For the seventh and eighth grades, there will be more independent classes. The curriculum is good and they do cover a lot in each subject area. Also, there is a web-based homework and assignment tracker which is very helpful for parents to stay on top of what the student needs to do."

"The school does an excellent job of providing educational assistance for children who need help to keep up with their work. However, their 'open enrollment' policy in advance placement classes, creates a situation where they lower the standards and slow the pace down in the accelerated classes so that the children who should not be in the class do not fall behind. It is a real diservice to 90% of the children who belong in the class. The school recommends who should be in the accelerated classes and then gives the parent the option to put their child in the class regardless of the childs ability."
