"Let me tell you a little about the Preschool. A friend of mine filled me in on what really happens behind closed doors (I don't want to identify her as to protect her). The Director is not qualified to be in that position. You must have a B.A. or higher and she was handed the position because she has been employed for over 30 years. She doesn't even have an A.A. from a community college. She is rude to the teachers and instead of giving nurturing advice she is bossy. She has even talked about parents behind their backs. When you speak to her she has no people skills at all. In the past she has made teachers work on their time without further pay and even asked another teacher to do some work that she herself was to complete and present at a Directors meeting. Within the last year many teachers and families have left (not surprised as to why) and their turn-over rate is horrible. How do you even know if your child's teacher is fully qualified? The administration pays their teachers as low as $9/hr. Preschool teachers work hard and should be compensated for whatever degree they hold. If I am paying over $800/mo. full-time to attend then where does the money go?"

"My daughter just finished kindergarten in Woodcrest. The teachers are excellent, especially the class teacher my daughter had. They know in their hearts about the characters of each student. When I asked the teacher how my daughter acted about some inciddent, she could immediately described in detail, which I also observe similar behavior at home too. I am not sure about preschool part, since there is another director. but this page is to rank the elementary school. for the elementary part, it is absolutely excellent!!! and I see they keep improving."

"This school is just wonderful. Everyone at Woodcrest is dedicated and kind. The school provides strong academics as well as classes in the arts. The staff is exceptionally well qualified many have been at Woodcrest for decades. Every teacher knows every child no matter the grade. The premises is always clean and safe and strict rules of conduct are enforced. My child has flourished at this school and I am so sad to leave this spring, but I know that he has been expertly and lovingly prepared for middle school"

"What an amazing school year! Woodcrest is an excellent elementary school with the most caring and dedicated staff. This weekend's Science Fair was just one more reason why I know that my child is getting the very best in education. Kudos to the principal and her teachers:)"
