"The words I never thought my child would say I don't want to go back to Linfield. I sat down and questioned and listened. My 8th grader is worried about how the other parents treat me. I tried to explain that I can handle what comes my way just relax and enjoy your friends. What I didnt know is the kids are old enough to come back to campus and repeat what Mom and Dad said last night at the dinner table. Example parents have set up a beach day every Wednesday why can't I go to the beach? The technology has gotten ahead of the parent and they are so caught up in who they want they forget we are at a Christian school. No excuse as to why can be given for a beach. I have heard before that things are limited because of space. My child has plenty of friends and gets invited to plenty of events but he has a lot of friend who do not! My child is starting to question the behavior and I don't have a answer. My child has never had a behavior issue, get's good grades and has friends. I had to agree with his words the parents are not being good christians and it's sad to say but it is starting to reflex in the character of the kids. Not Returning"

"In response to the last review I dont think you should give a review after one year at LCS because the first year is always the easiest. As you mentioned you are not a connected family so you are still looking at the school with rose colored glasses. The reason I believe the reviews are from one extreme to the other is because depending on how you fit gives you very different outcomes. The pros from the previous review sounds scripted and is information you can get right from LCS website. The reason my family stays at LCS is because the teachers and staff are the blessing and we have decided to overlook the cons. After my child attending for years I have noticed SOME parents who stay on campus as much as possiable and tend to clique up in order to try and control the social setting. All the student's are children of god and SOME of the parents forget that fact. LCS is a christian school SOME of the parent could use help in that area. Reading all the reviews i see everybody point in what the experience they have had. I do believe if the coffee and gossip stopped amoung the parents the LCS could be almost perfect."

"I have read a few reviews prior to entering our son into Linfield and just now read a few others after having entered him into the school. This is our sons first year in high school. So you understand, for two years previous to his 9th grade year, we had home schooled our son due to the poor public system in our area. In going into high school we had a choice of several very good public schools in Temecula and Murrieta. Our sons choice though was to try to attend Linfield. The Cons in going there was cost, size of the school, he had no friends attending and their sports program was very small compared to the other schools. In addition, we did not have the financial where-with-all to cover the tuition. The Pros's to us was the, curriculum(all honors classes), teacher per student ratio(1-19), percentage of high school graduation to 4 year college (97%) and the character and Spiritual focus on the students. The school helped us to reach a financial payment that worked for us. The students, teachers and administration have been extremely supportive to our son. We have had no drama /complaints and we are not a rich, famous or connected family ;-). This is a great school."

"In response to the last comment and as a former parent of the LCS, I have to say that all children at the school are treated equally. The parents financial situation in no way affects how far each child will go while at the Linfield Christian School nor in life! It's up to the individual student's drive and determination along with the guidence from their parent/parents. As far as the tax records go, what does that have to do with the parents deep pockets? Humm.. Parents give if they can and if not then nobody is treated any differently! Saying that LCS is NOT a TRUE Christian school due to their finances is a quite a bold statement! Their are so many God loving wonderful and great administrators, faculty, parents and students that work and attend the LCS. Donations to any public or private school always help offset the tuition & opperational costs and help those children/families that need that little extra financial support especially during these difficult times. If your looking for a loving, secure environment that provides a great education for your child then I would 100% without any hesitation highly recommend checking out the LCS.~Former LCS parent w/2 LC Alumni's~"

"Oh and, I should add that the millions of dollars they owe in debt pretty much speaks for itself."
