"This is a school that puts a lot of pressure on all of its students. The guidance counselors push for all the honors and AP classes possible. One of the problems is that sometimes people push for what is better for the school standings instead of what is better for the kids."

"The environment and education are both better than any other I've ever been to (and I've attended quite a few other schools before this one)"

"They have a study center which is like a free tutoring place. The teachers are kind and helpful here and do as much as they can to help you."

"We moved to Great Neck as this is one of the best school districts in the whole of Long Island and Great Neck South school is one of the top 100 best high schools in the country. We were fully vindicated by how our kids blended in with the school and I am sure that GNSHS is better than most of the private high schools . Students and parents work together with the teachers who are well paid and committed to work . Great foundation building for their careers."

"I feel this school is way too competitive and teachers only focus on the smart students. Teachers and all staff should pay more attention to the mediocre students and help them as well."
