"I have lived here since 1998 I worked here My son attended here. negative rating was based on emotion. The staff is very down to earth and committed.School is built in the middle of a golf community, with pool, HOA, and gated parts. Of course it is going to be clickque'ish and the staff, leadership, PTA, grandparents, Junior Acheivement, military, patriotic, diverse groups (Hispanic, Asian, Middle Eastern, Native Americans,Africians, Caribean, Jamacian, Inu Indians others were all invited to present their Heritage. I remember this was done evey year and Hallways would have pictures and timelines of families and "who they were", They had parents volunteer reading with students so their skill levels would become better. I do not know who this lady met but to look someone iin the eye, you have to raise your head and do so. Excellent Special Education : inclusion to Life Skills with trained staff for extreme handicapped to small learning disabilities classroom or seperate setting. PT, OT, Speech, Positive Reinforcement Training for ED kids.Dyslexia. Structured curriculum goals-decreased homework. activities, girl scouts, boy scouts, chess club, music, journalism, student councils, IT etc."

"We moved here from out of state in 2005 and hoped that as a Round rock school this would be a good school. We were dissapointed with the Principal who did not seem interested in moving the school ahead. The PTA was very clique'ish and did not want certain "types"(skin, color, race) of people in their board or even to volunteer. They would not even look you in the eye and treat you like you were not there. This was minor in comparison to the very poor academic standards and parents who thought 1 page of homework everyday was too much!! We did love one teacher very much! The whole staff did nothing about verbal bullying and even did not care about a parent mistreating my kid either! They may be an exemplary school today but I do not want to be with this set of people."

"The academics are good but the student population is very sheltered, a little to sheltered for my child's taste. The parental community is very over-reactionary to any child that is different and does not fit the 'cookie-cutter' mold. The new administration at this school completely cater to this attitude with particular parents as well. In addition, my son went through a bullying incident there. We sought a therapist for the emotional trauma it caused my son. She wrote a letter to the principal (who I am not at all impressed with) telling them they needed to move the bully. However, the administration did not respond to her letter. They were of no help to my son until we asked that he switch classrooms. I personally cannot stand this school, its administration and all of the over-bearing, over-protective parents in it. I wish we had never moved to this community."

"FC used to be a great school - but with totally new administration, and with much of what made it great following the old administration to a new school - I can't rate this school more than simply average. PTA is involved, but not welcoming to new parents also trying to get involved. Very cliquish and 'high school girls' - esque. Heard from many parents that trying to volunteer beyond the classroom level is just not worth it, nor really wanted beyond being assigned 'busy work'."

"We moved to this area 2 years ago and both the kids and I just love this school. The teachers are excellent and very nice. I am happy that we are lucky we have such a great place for our kids. Top quality education. If they are not rated exemplary, they should be. Parents here rock also in volunteerism"
