"I find that the workload, at least for an honor's freshman, is very light. My son rarely comes home with any homework. Also, the foreign language lptions are a joke!! Only one or maybe two semesters are offered, whereas in better schools, 3-4 YEARS of a language are offered."

"To the June 9th, 2008 poster: Are you kidding? Obviously you've never lived through the world of "NEW CONSTRUCTION" and if you have, you aren't very realistic about it. A project of this magnitude takes years to complete--cracks, mud and all. Be happy that your child is or wasn't in an old moldy building as opposed to a brand new one with COMMON issues. Athletic fields and the like don't magically appear--they have to be built. Subsequently, they are there now and they look gorgeous, don't they? I am putting 2 children through this school system and am extremely pleased, overall."

"As a parent, I am shocked that another parent would criticize teachers for holding students accountable for their whereabouts!! One of the wonderful aspects of Bordentown Regional High School is that they attempt to maintain a semblance of order for students. Frankly, one of the reasons BRHS is a safe place for our kids to learn is because they do not allow the students to appear wherever and whenever they want."

"While the school is newly built, and therefore has no fields and lacks exterior perfection, being a member of more than half of BRHS's functions, I think it's safe to say that its options are very diverse and superb. The theater is fantastic and fun to perform in and the vocal and instrumental programs are huge as well. The only major disappointment is that the administration does not value the teachers enough to give any of them tenure anymore, mainly so that the budget goes not to the teachers who devote so much attention to their classes, but to the administration faculty, creating a constantly inexperienced teaching staff that is juggled between the various schools in the district. The academics are decent, and there is an unbiased, realistic sex education program. Those who care about a good education get one, and BRHS is exceedingly safe."

"i am a current student at BRHS and i must say that i am very disappointed. this school has a limited variety of classes, the overall attitude of students is terrible, and the duration of days school is in session is longer than that of other schools. The new building is cracking, the outside is muddy and unplesant, and the school budget is so low that some classes cannot give out textbooks to students. one of the worst things about this school (i feel) is that its exterior looks sloppy and unfinished, and there are not any sports fields on schools grounds. what kind of school does not have fields? students have to go to the elementary and middle schools to play games. i look at other high schools and feel very ashamed; this district needs to make a lot of improvements."
