"This school is nice because it is not too big, so everyone knows each other. This allows for a close, tight-knit community which is good for the children."

"Most teachers are always looking out for their students and want to help them succeed. Some do it in more harsh ways, but they try to prepare us for college."

"The teachers here are average. They do their best for the kind of curriculum they're forced to have. Their teaching styles are okay, but you can surly tell who loves their job and who doesn't. My math teacher, for example, didn't even go to school for math. He doesn't want to be a teacher. The teachers are knowledgable in their field, though. Some have more interest in their students than others, which affects the way the class runs. Their communication skills are decent, and their grading is usually consistent."

"I feel as if I didn't have the real high school experience. We have to pay to join clubs or play sports, which raises the questions, where does all our funding go that we can't even play a sport for free? I tried to join a sport after clearing a heart condition with my doctor and the coach still would not let me join because of my work schedule, even though I would only miss maybe two practices a week and would make them up on my own. I did not think the was fair at all. Within the past four years, we have had about three different principals as well. This last principal has robbed my class of a true Senior Year experience. Even as a small class of about 140 students, he doesn't want to take the time to read over our Senior Quotes so now we don't have them at all. He won't let us decorate our graduation caps, and our Senior Trip is a joke. Every fundraising idea we have pitched to him, he has shot us down. I would never choose this school again."

"I have been to many different schools. I moved from a relatively bigger town which accommodated more than 3000 students in one building. This school on the other hand sits at 500 students. Personally, I like this school because as a student it help me build a better connection with my teachers and pals. It has that one on one factor that helps me learn better as an individual. For example, the guidance counselor here is responsible for about a hundred students whereas in my other school it was 500-750 students. This helps me to discuss my present and future on a personal level. However, if you are different than other, you must adapt quickly. It takes time to make friends and get going, but one must always be willing to be involved in the community."
