"Our daughter's four-year experience as a day student at Emma Willard has been nothing but positive. She has developed into a capable and caring young woman, with the intelligence and communication skills necessary for college, as well as for working in an adult world. We had hoped that a superior education offered at the high school level would build the best possible educational foundation for her. . . . and we were right ! We have complete confidence that she will find college-level work to be not unlike what she has already been experiencing at Emma. Every teacher she has had has been a valuable part of an all-too-short four years at a most wonderful school. We will all miss our daily contact with the school and all of the teachers and staff that we have all come to love. There are few choices in life that are so clearly right, so completely correct from start to finish. Our choice to enroll our daughter at Emma Willard will always be remembered as one of those rare events in our lives where everything worked out better than we ever expected. Our eternal thanks for being able to be part of it all !"

"The decision to attend Emma Willard has been hands down the best decision I have made in my life yet...and is projected to be my number 1 for a very long time. The work is challenging, however the teachers present the material in innovative and captivating ways. The friends I made at Emma Willard were not just friends, they were sisters. I was a day student, however most of my friends were boarders. At Emma Willard you interact with people from many cultures with many different backgrounds and ideas and it is captivating. Emma Willard does not just prepare you for college, it prepares you for life. I absolutely loved every second I had at Emma and if I had the opportunity to make the decision to go to Emma all over again, I would do it in a heart beat."

"When I came to EWS at age 15, I was shy and afraid to share my opinions. Emma Willard gave me confidence and, now in college, I feel fully prepared to handle the world."

"I recently graduated from EWS and I would never trade the experience that I got there for anything. Academically it was challenging and prepared me well for the demands of college. Socially my friends are my sisters and it was such a supportive environment to grow into a woman in."

"As a recent EWS alum, I only have great things to say about my experience at the school. It was the perfect environment for me to grow as a student and as a young woman. I can't imagine a more supportive community of faculty and staff, and I am still in touch with a great many of them. I am quite certain that the friendships I made at Emma Willard will be very long-lasting. Despite the stress I may have felt as a student there, in the end, I feel that my hard work paid off. For many people, Emma Willard is what you make of it. If you are willing to do the work, embrace the traditions and take advantage of the opportunities, you will have an amazing experience like I did."
