"A breath of fresh air ... Putting in leadership that shows they care makes all the difference!"

"I just wanted to respond to the special education needs that have been discussed. I too am a parent of a special needs child and have no difficulties what so ever obtaining what I need for him. The staff have gone above and beyond time and again to meet his needs. The new principal has been spectacular and both my children, enjoy attending school each day. The key I feel to my success has been open communication with the teachers and personal involvement in the success of my childrens education. The teachers and school have a part to play, but so do I. Together as team, we have made the best decisions and have had the best outcomes that I could have hoped for."

"Both of my children went to Cookson Elementary and it was a great experience for both of them. The staff is warm, caring and knowledgeable. My kids still like to stop in and visit their teachers and talk fondly of their days as a Cookson Tiger."

"My son went to Cookson for K-5 & he had a wonderful experience there. We moved when he was in 3rd grade & I open enrolled him to make sure he stayed @ Cookson. The staff was always available & willing to help if we ever needed anything. To this day when we run into teachers they remember not only him but also my husband & I."
