"Mostly I enjoyed the teachers, they were nice and mostly had positive relationships with their students. I didn't get to interact much with the parents, but it seemed there was a lot of pressure for the kids to succeed at school. Everyone was pushed to high expectations and it can get very stressful at times. I enjoyed it, the curriculum was challenging, but do able. Though it could get very stressful. One problem I had with this school was the deficit in help for mentally struggling students."

"Parents expect their children to be the best in everything. Instead of helping everyone reach the top, parents want only their children to be the best. Many parents disagree with the teachers workload and grading style due to the inconsistency of homework and tests. Although my parents are incredibly supportive, the overall environment is harsh beacuse of the pressure parents have on their children."

"Unfortunately, University High School is known for an "all white kid" school and it is mostly true. I have met racist people in the school and believe it should be a school for white people. I am hispanic and there are many people who are also diverse at the school. There are rarely any transphobic and homophobic views at my school. Students are very involved in every activity and I am proud of the extracurricular programs at my school."

"The teaching staff at University High School is very knowledgeable and can answer most questions. Most of the teachers are nice and available for questions, a few are not nice and available, but most are good at what they do. There's a diverse spectrum of teaching styles. The teachers genuinely care about the students and give one on one tutoring sometimes if a student is struggling."

"The teachers are very knowledgable and excited to teach everyday. They challenge students with incredible amounts of work; however, they also encourage students to learn. My teachers are willing to help any student. The only issue is the lack of empathy for students who are sick, injured, and/or have issues trying to learn."
