"I have two daughters and one son and while one child had a great time at Turlock High my other two had a very different experience at Pitman. Most of the teachers are great or at least adequate the same cannot be said for the administators. The office staff tend to treat the kids like unruly cattle and disputes are completely disregarded rather that being dealt with in a thoughtful manner. There seems to be a frightening lack of interest in student well being. I would encourage parents to think long and hard before sending them here."

"Pitman High School is the Pride of Turlock. Why go to Turlock High? Isn't Turlock High on probation for poor student academic performance? Pitman has classy people there. Their teachers and administration are by far more caring and supportive of their students. They don't put on a show, they are the real dal."

"My son went to this school for all of his high school years, due to medical reasons he was home schooled for the later part of his senior year. He loved the school however as a parent who had daughters that went to Turlock High I can tell you that the counselors at Pitman do not seem to be very helpful. My daughters counselors at Turlock High were very helpful as to what they needed to not only graduate, but what they needed to get in to the colleges they were seeking. My son definitly did not get that same support at Pitman. In my opinion if you are looking for that extra support for your child to go to college and you want help with motivating your child Turlock High is the better choice."
