"This is an excellent elementary school. The atmosphere is very good for learning. They have a new elementary principal that is really making a difference in the setting at the school. Everyone is so friendly and caring. Recently the district hired a new superintendent. He is providing vision and leadership to the district that had been lacking for years. Holton is the best school system in the area!"

"There is a weekly school newsletter sent home with every child and some teachers send one also. Communication is there. If you have questions and ask the teachers they are more than willing to answer you. Parent involvement is really low!!!!! There is a Parent Committee that meets monthly, there is only about 6 - 8 parents who show up. My 3 kids are doing great. I wouldn't change them to another school."

"I have not found that the inform parents very well. No homework is not always the best thing. I am glad that my child and I communicate well or I would never know what he was doing in school."

"I have three children attending Holton Elementary School this year. Two boys, twins, in second grade, and a girl in kindergarten. I feel my kids receive a great education, so far, at Holton School. I have had no problems, and my children seem to really enjoy it. They allow alot of parent interaction at the school also. I think it is a great place for my children to learn."
