    "Beware, they teach one size fits all and if your child is not a top performer there is little help. Your child swims or sinks. No air conditioning for the children. No more recess. There is little time for individuality. The best part of the school is the playground and the outdoor learning center. The inside smells like a dirty sock... windows are rarely ever open in warm months. If you prefer a one size fits all approach to education- then this is the school for you! *Favoritism for some of the students who's parents help out extensively."

    "Ledgeview, an "Excellent with Distinction" school has provided my two students with a strong educational foundation in a caring, supportive environment. Every teacher sends home an assignment book each night, frequently with personal notes to the parent. The district also provides an online Progress Book where students and parents can check individual assignment and cumulative grades in real time. We have been blessed with so many excellent teachers who always find personal connections with their students and provide projects and opportunities for each child to shine. The school has an excellent gifted education program."

    "I found some of the teachers to be really great and others to be really awful. They talk a good game, but if you aren't a parent who will stay on top of things then your child will slip through the cracks in this district. The teachers who are bad can be truly horrific - the kind of people who should never be in teaching. I've seen a couple of excellent teachers leave in pure frustration with the district administration. Be a vocal parent, have documentation on what your child needs and keep after everyone to make sure it happens."

    "the teachers are great. they go above and beyond to make your child feel comfortable. but the down fall is it is hard to get an IEP for a child here. my child is in k he is very behind because he has adhd or bipolar. and is more worried about being center of attention. i think he needs extra help. the school wont give it to him. but his teacher has a lot of patience and tries hard to work with him and us. he even took time out of class to call me and tell me how proud he was of my child for reading a few 3 and 4 letter words."

    "I have two students at Ledgeview. The teachers at this school are mostly very dedicated professionals who truly care about the kids. The school works very hard to identify gifted kids - as well as those who are struggling. Parent support and volenteerism is high. However, one of my children has had some kids in class that have had behavioral issues. I strongly feel the school needs a better and more effective discipline policy so that and behavior problems are quickly brought under control."
