"A caring, diverse, and effective elementary school in an excellent district. Highly recommended neighborhood school."

"On the upside, and most importantly, a strong teaching staff with a few exceptions. On the downside, overcrowded facilities such as cafeteria, recess, bathrooms and auditorium and too many compromises must be made as a result. Leadership at this school is less than effective. Again though, most teachers are pretty wonderful."

"My grand-daughter attended this school and performed very well in middle school. Tuscan and all the other elementary schools in Maplewood really prepare children for academic excellence. I highly recommend this school."

"The school is very popular and therefore classes are full (19+ per teacher for many). However, the quality of the teachers and the dynamic school community and PTA outweigh any disadvantage on class size. It's a caring, warm and personal environment for young students and parents. The teachers are dedicated and approachable. The school culture is also very inclusive, open minded and tolerant. Very happy with the education so far."

"Fabulous teacher - my sons kindergarten class had the sweetest teacher I could imagine. She inspired, taught, disciplined all the warmest way. Now again, my son is in 1st grade and I have to say the teachers are wonderful."
