"My school is amazing. The staff is helpful and caring and they will challenge you. All students have a very tight bond and it's an easy place to fit in and find friends. Our band and chorus programs are amazing and the instructors are great. EMS provides a safe and fun environment for learning and teachers are always available to help. I know all the material and more with our HALE program for higher learning students. Rotation classes (you have them for six weeks then switch) are my favorite and very interactive. There aren't many (if any) bad things to say about my school."

"This school was awful for my daughter. Communication is terrible and they have no idea how to handle students that require more of a challenge. My daughter left that school unprepared for high school and believing education is a waste of time. One particular teacher had a habit of making decisions that she had no right to (pulling her out of a class she struggled in, but enjoyed because she was being challenged). The principal had no idea of what his teaching staff was doing and seemed uninterested in meetings about my daughter's education. (I understand he's moved on, though.) It seems the focus at this school is to place children in classes that are easy for them in order to keep grades up for good appearance and then teach to the test only for the same reason. When I asked why my child was not being taught critical thinking skills or even research methods, I was told that was a philosophical question and not something they covered. I have no idea where my son is going to go next year, but it is not there."
