"We moved to Sebastian in March of 07 my daughter has a severe Peanut/nut allergy and Pelican Island has gone above and beyond any of the other schools that she has been to, to make sure my daughter is safe."

"This school has great teachers who are very involved with their students and work for the best of their students. The school is very inviting and everyone is willing to help parents and make sure the parents and the students are informed about all aspects of the learning environment."

"This a school that took my son in at PreK with a Speech Disability and gave him the tools, help and encouragement that he needed. Now he is in 1st Grade and is speeking 100% better. He has came a long way. Without P.I.E. he would not be where he is today."

"I had two childern go through Pelican Island and have two more childern going through now they have all been given and still are being given the best possible education by the highest quality teachers and principal. Two of them have been given a great opportunity of extracurricular activity by being members of the Pelican Island ECO troop. Which has taught them hands on about nature and caring for endangered animals. It is a grade A school with its parent, teacher, and principal involvement."

"I have two children attending Pelican Island. This is our 5th year at this school and we love it! Our experience has been very positive, but I believe that a positive experience has as much to do with parental involvement as it does with the school itself. Parents can make or break their child's success in school. It is not all up to the teachers and principal. We, as parents, must take responsibility to be our child's primary educator then the school can't help but be successful too."
