"John Muir Elementary is a wonderful school. My two children are thriving there and LOVE their teachers. They have both been challenged at their level and continue to develop new skills in math and reading. My first grader's reading ability has just blossomed! We have been very pleased with the school environment and the quality of the teachers."

"My kids are all at John Muir and it is an amazing, nurturing environment. Like most schools, there are some mediocre teachers, but the majority of the teachers are very involved and committed to creating a learning environment that benefits everyone, from the most advanced to those in need to serious remedial learning. Many of the teachers and staff live in the immediate neighborhood and have sent their children to the school. They do their best to make Muir a special and safe place."

"The teachers are not very helpful and students do not learn anything. What can you do? Send your kids to another school, right?"

"My 3 children got a great start in their education here in an amazing environment. They went on to the UW and to graduate schools, making successful lives. They still are in touch with friends from Muir."
