"Vinton Middle is a good school. My children have been happy here. The teachers and staff are interested in all children doing their best. The school is continually improving and raising their test scores."

"Vinton has the worst school system I have ever seen. All the teachers and staff are concerned with is controlling the students and not teaching them. The School needs new leadership, it is stuck in a management that does not work in teaching. Spend more time on teaching and less on keeping up with what they are wearing or not wearing."

"This is a really good school. They have improved test scores every year. The faculty is great, teachers are very knowledgeable and caring. I like the block schedule, it gives more time for teaching and learning.The principal has a vision for the school and future. He is continually improving the school."

"Vinton Middle is a good school. The teachers and staff hard to provide the best education they can for our students. They have been part of the leading edge of quality changes in curriculum and instruction. The school's performance on the state tests has consistently improved over the last five years due to the hard work of the staff and students and has received numerous awards for the improvement in student achievement. The school facilities are great with the addition of a new library, gym, computer lab, and science labs. The school administration works hard to provide the best for all of our students. We are proud of Vinton Middle School and all of these accomplishments."
