"One of the best things that I can think of, when I think of what makes this High School unique from others, is the fact that the layout is not like a normal high school. This campus, feels more like a college campus. Brick building, and a different building for different departments. Grass courtyards, trees, and a creek running through it. It made for a really positive work environment."

"I moved in end of my freshman year of high school from the most diverse school in the state (Kent-Meridian High School), to Walla Walla, not knowing what to expect when going to a new school. The one thing that I found strong encouragement in, when returning each morning, would be the teachers. I would walk down the hallways, or through the cafeteria, and just be greeted by teachers and staff. They would all be friendly, and encouraging."

"Most of the teachers I've had were pretty good, but there does seem to be a few that have somehow been able to keep teaching. There doesn't seem to be a way to get rid of bad teachers."

"Some teachers are really nice and care about student success outside of the classroom, but other teachers don't really have the ability to have a connection with the students."
