"This school is absolutely amazing. Everyone here cares so much about the students and treats you like family. Their academics are tough but I feel like it gets them leaps and bounds above some of their friends who go to other schools. My daughters have both gone since Nursery School. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of extracurricular activities or sports (not that they should be THAT important but if your kid is thinking about playing in college, there isn't much chance to get seen). Food is catered from a local restaurant and while it is more costly than public school, knowing my kids are getting a good meal is worth it. Overall, there is a family feel and I text the teachers on a regular basis. So glad we found this place."
"If you decide to transfer your child from another school, they will invite your child to "sit in" for the day. During that day, the teacher will decide if your child "fits" in. I was told by the fifth grade teacher, Ivy Wamach that my 5th grader was "too behind" for the school and would never be able to "keep up" with the rest of her class. She told me that she had him read for the class and apparently her assessment was based on that performance. My entire conversation with her left me in complete shock as she went on and on about how "advanced" her classroom was and how quickly she moved her students along. She made it very clear that my son was not anywhere near the caliber of "her" students. She turned him away. After my conversation with Ms. Wamach, I was never contacted by the principal nor did I receive any additional feedback. The school did not view my son's previous academic record nor did they offer to formally test him. That was it. They felt he didn't measure up academically and they didn't want him. The school itself seems wonderful and if your child "knocks it out of the park" on that first day....you should have no problem."
"My daughter has been attending Faith for six years and we love it. The teachers are so dedicated and caring. Every year they add new things to the school year to make it more exciting and fun for the students. New sports, spring formals, and special trips. While the academics are challenging and advanced, they balance the hard work with fun things so that you end up with a well rounded, adjusted child. Faith is the best!"
"I have been going to this school for four years, since fourth grade, and I really like it. The academics are awe-inspiring, the sports are pretty okay, but we ARE slowly advancing. This year, at the spring program, we are getting medals if we were, 1.In band, 2.Played soccer, 3.Played volleyball, 4.Played basketball, and, 5.Cheered. (The sports aren't nearly as advanced as public schools, but we have some fun. I believe I am going to Bentworth for high school, after eighth grade this coming school year, and I can't lie, but I am excited. Bentworth is a good school, also, but it's a public school."
Former Student Review
"Faith Christian is a wonderfull school wich provides excellent, involved teachers and the encouragement needed to succeed. I found my time at this school to be priceless. Not only did this school provide me with a sense of acedemic accomplishment. It gave me the spiritual confidense I needed to stand my ground against the secular pressures surrounding my life a a student. I would highly suggest this school to any parent wishing to enroll there child in a safe, nuturing environment that is geared toward success in life through Christ our Lord."
