"New Principal. Have tried to give her the benefit of the doubt all year but I really just am concerned and disappointed. She does not seem to interact with the kids, and she avoids parents. Morale is very low and staff is quitting right and left. Thankful we are almost finished with elementary school."

"I am very unhappy with the program for special needs children with this district. I have had to pull my child out of school and move to a private location because this school can not get it together. When i went to complain to the super int. I was simply redirected to the special ed directer. I guess special needs children do not get the same respect that regular ed children get."

"The program for special needs children is way under par! We have to go outside of the district to have our childs needs met."

"This is our first year at Vandagriff. We love our teacher. We see progress reports but no details but if we ask she is ready to help. It is sad that there is a very low PTO attendance. It is a friendly school but could use more parent involvement to make it a great school."

"I am a teacher in another district and have lots of years experience in schools. (my grandchildren attend Vandagriff) ) I think this is a great school! The principal is very visable and the staff in the office are friendly and helpful. My grandchildren love the teachers they are very happy at Vandagriff!"
