"There's a very broad range; some teachers are very passionate and hardworking and care about their jobs, others are joke teachers or mean teachers. Be sure to ask older siblings and older students which teachers to request because it will make a difference. Over all, though, almost all of the teachers are friendly and approachable and willing to help you outside of school hours."

"I have loved this school. I'm currently a senior, and there have been some big changes in the school in the last four years. We got a new principal and vice principal, many teachers retired or were hired, and every student in the school (sophomore and higher) was issued a Chromebook. Through it all, the campus felt like one great big family (spending 4 years with only 600 people will do that) For my experience, I am a high achiever and I felt the courses offered were very vigorous and that the teachers always wanted the best for their students. We have a spectacular foreign arts program, a wonderful technology department, and notable arts and performing arts classes. The campus is high-spirited during school and at sporting events."

"Overall the school is great but a little on the small side. I wish there were more Honors and AP classes. The sports program is excellent considering we are the smallest school in the division. Everyone here is not afraid to be themselves and don't care what other people think. I like that freedom of character because that is what makes Colfax, Colfax. The principal, Mr. Lundberg, is pretty awesome too."

"Small school made for close friendships with people I've grown up with. Great teachers, personal attention, school pride!"

"Colfax High School is a very spirited school. I would have enjoyed it more if I was into big social events, such as football games and rallys. Although I am not the kind of person who normally gets involved in those big social events, I happened to find myself joining drum line. We were keeping the crowd pumped and excited. Even though drum line was a blast, I thoroughly enjoyed being in the drama and other music classes, and I must say that the drama and music programs are what made this school be a great school."
