"My general impression is that the administration and staff are all busy doing their jobs, with admirable results. The one aspect which was most noticeable was a total lack of pandering to parents -- if they were busy, they didn't hesitate to explain that they had their own set of priorities driving their schedule, so please schedule appointments rather than just walk in. Which seems to be an issue with SOME parent(s), from reading other reviews (many of which appear to be from the same reviewer)."

"I think it is very sad that a campus this new cannot produce a more educational atmosphere. The administrators are terribly inconsistent with rules and regulations. The principle and assistant principles are completely unwilling to work with families and deal with children as individuals rather than a mass student body. Administrators are completely overloaded, example would be that they have one guidance counselor for the entire student body. I am sickened by the attitude of the controlling educators at this school. There are many very wonderful teachers but they have their hands tied by uncaring overwhelmed stressed upper level educators."

"This school is terrible!! They disrespect the kids and the teachers. The principal is not a nice person. They can't stand in the lunch room, cant go see their teachers if they have questions, and all the staff is completely uneducated and rude. I bet they don't even have degrees. The only good teachers are the chorus teacher, the 7th grade gifted LA teacher, and the drama teacher. All of the others are rude and uneducated. All they do is scream at the kids and give out lunch detentions for asking questions, to the teacher!!! The kids in standard are very unruly and bad influences. The punishments are inconsistant and they are very favorable. I would not recommend this school to ANYONE!!!!!"

"I am not at all impressed with this school. We moved here late last school year. The staff is unwilling to work with parents (or meet with you at all). They are rude, inconsistent with the students, and completely understaffed in the guidance dept (one person for all 1200 students). I have been trying to get my child tested for gifted since May. 6 months later and they are just now beginning the process. They treat the students like a number rather than human beings with feelings. I will not be sending my other 2 children to this school."

"The staff is wonderful; my son has a teacher who is firm and takes no nonsense, but is loving and challenges him. He is bright but easily distracted and lazy. Ms B recognized that right away, and inspires him yet assures that he manages his own distractions."
