"I graduated from this school in 2003 when it was East Wake High School. They can change the name of the school but it was a terrible school and obviously still is a bad school. I had only a couple teachers from 9th through 12th grade that actually cared about the students. I had a 12th grade English teacher that allowed us to sit there the entire period and just talk, we were never given a single assignment the entire year! This school had gangs and tons of kids whose parents didn't care whether they graduated or not. It felt like a prison and I skipped as much as I could. Do not allow your kids to ride the bus to and from this school either!"

"My child's first year there and overall I'm not that impressed. Most of the teachers do not communicate with the parents on an individual basis. Some will send out generic emails to all parents, but nothing of substance to help with a student's individual needs. They need to address problems ahead of time with individual students, not at the end of the semester. Very disappointing year."
