"Pacific Hills is truly a family. I recently moved here from Pennsylvania to accept a position in their History Department and immediately was accepted by the entire community. My colleagues are absolutely phenomenal and exceedingly dedicated to our students and their success. The students, too, are dedicated to their educational and extracurricular endeavors and it is reflected by their passion and excitement to come to school each day. I am so fortunate to have been granted this amazing opportunity to join the family at Pacific Hills!"

"Pacific Hills School is an incredible, unique place that any parent should consider sending their child. The teachers are incredibly attentive to the needs of their kids, creating an amazingly individualized experience. Parents have incredible opportunities to stay abreast with their child's progress in all classes, as teachers make it a point to communicate with parents about student progress. Small class sizes allow for a personal touch not available at other schools. The administration has changed and does not behave in the manner described below anymore (I would say that it never did). It is certainly now a loving, compassionate, attentive administration intensely interested not only in the academic success of its students, but also in the personal growth and overall health of the students of the school. I am a teacher at the school, but I have such faith in the school now that I have decided to send my own child to Pacific Hills School for the reasons stated above. It is a unique privat school that is interested in academic excellence, yes, but also the overall development of a socioeconomically and culturally diverse student body. A real oasis for kids."

"Sorry. In the review below there is a typo. It should say "private," not "privat." I was typing so fast, being so fired up about the school."

"Pacific Hills is an extraordinary school. The faculty is without question the best I've ever encountered; the teachers are talented, knowledgeable, kind, caring, and passionate. They embody the familial atmosphere upon which the school has built its reputation. The student body is wonderfully diverse, and the students are welcoming, tolerant, and friendly. The extracurriculars are also fantastic; the boys' basketball team is the best in the state, and the theatre program is very strong, thanks to a wonderful and dedicated teacher. What PHS lacks in infrastructure it more than makes up in sheer academic excellence and a lot of heart. After having a difficult time adapting to a public school, PHS was the best thing that could have happened to me. It was truly my second family, and I feel so grateful and lucky that I spent my high school years in such a nurturing environment. This school is really something special."

"There is a reason why this school, in an area devoid of 6-12 independent day schools, is not growing, is the administration. They base the day to day operations on a faulty philosophy. They are petty. They do not encourage, uplift and promote a supportive environment. They practice elitism and sexism. They enforce dress code based on body weight. They are inconsistent in applying school guidelines and policies. The academic curriculum is adequate. Teachers are inconsistent in enthusiasm and standards in the classroom."
