"The teachers are really good and actually try to make sure you learn. The dual enrollment opportunities here are amazing. But there is so much drama. Someone is either getting arrested, busted for drugs, or running up and down the hall screaming about someone they want to fight. The study body is what makes the school so bad."

"The teachers at Fort Madison are outstanding. I have thoroughly enjoyed all of my classes with at least 9 out of 10 of my teachers. They are very good at making the classroom a relaxed and fun place to be. Excellent learning environments."

"The teachers are really involved within students' lives. They want them to succeed, so they will go above and beyond to make that happen. Each teacher has a different way of teaching, but they are all great ways of teaching. They are always on top of their game when it comes to putting grades into the gradebook."

"The teachers really like what they do and they teach with passion although I feel that they don't always have the time they need to teach the things that are really important. I also know that they cut a lot of science programs that the teacher liked and the students were looking forward to. Not only were the students disappointed, but the teacher was a little upset as well."
