"As a graduating senior this year, I have seen this school go from the good and the bad. This school is great for the kind of student that requires the kind of attention that a 500+ student campus needs. The classes are challenging enough to keep the average student entertained, while at the same time, students who require higher levels of instructional material will be wanting more. Thankfully, we are allowed to take classes at the local community college for free (with books) after sophomore year. The teachers are great and they know when to look after the students. Although the school is lacking in school pride, student organizations are looking to increase it. Over all HPHS is a great school with a bit of diversity. Students have been known to come from all over the Sacramento region and focus in their learning. GO CLASS OF 2011!"

"I graduated Health Profession High School (HPHS) in 2009. When I attended the school, we had a great variety of students and teachers. As an inaugural class member, I can only speak on the experiences I have seen at HPHS as a pioneering student. I had many opportunities to excel academically and prospectively. As students our opinion were heard and implemented. Great school at the time but, as my class graduated many good teachers and administrators were leaving; the academic progression at this school was coming to halt and we were loosing credibility as a specialized small high school."

"I am currently a Senior at AABHPHS but unlike the other reviews mine isn't a good one....back in 2009 it was a great school i love our school til we started having issues with everything else. last year is when everything change....including our school hours and our schedule which everyone love and if you were already used to the schedule and system it really messed everything up...at first the school can seem like the right place especially since the teachers are so nice but the school it self sucks along with its management. And they seem to have a special fondness of allowing the students no freedom. I am more then glad to graduate from this school just so I never have to see it again."

"My daughter has been a student at Health Professions since her freshman and is currently a junior. The faculty members are excellent and above my daughter is doing very well in school. She plans to become and Registred Nurse and with the way things are going, I am confident she will succeed!"
