"The teachers at the Met Sacramento High School are just phenomenal. I have been to two high schools and the teachers here are the best of all. We are with our advisor for the four years you are at the Met, this allows the student to make a connection with the teacher through out the four years. I love this system that they have, my advisor is a great fit for me and he helps me out with keeping up in school a lot."

"Overall, I believe that The Met is the best high school experience any high school student can have. It is very different from other high schools. Here we have to do what we call our Met 101-401, you rank up as you advance to the next grade. Within the Met 101-401 the student has to complete 20 hours of health and wellness, 10 hours of community service, 2 reading books, and 2 cultural event. This has taught me to be independent and to do a lot of things on my own, it has taught me how to grow up over these few year. Mainly because I have to do my own physical education and I have to get out in the community and find different things to do to help my community, also something I thing is the best of all with have to be the cultural events. Doing this has taught me a lot about the different people that live all around me. I love getting out in the world."

"This school has helped tremendously in my preparations for the real world. Not only in an academic way, but I've personally grown throughout the years I spent at this school. It's great to be able to have internships on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the community instead of being stuck on campus (unless you don't have an internship, of course). These internships help us learn more about the careers we have even the slightest interest in, and sometimes they help us decide what we want to be when we're finished with school."
