"My favorite class in the school is AP English because I feel like that is one of the only classes that I am able to make my skills shine since I feel like I'm not smart enough for any other class. I also love how much opportunity is given to the humanities students in the school."

"Some teachers I believe really do have a good way of teaching which helps every student differently but others spend so much time during the short class time, focusing on the behavior's of the students that don't listen instead of focusing on helping the ones who do want to learn."

"A lot of people bash this Randolph. I really like my school. It offers so many opportunities for students and families. A lot of them do not take advantage of the opportunities, however they are there. The students are always in best interest and its easy to become close with faculty if you are open."

"As my senior year comes along, I have to say that my four years at Randolph have been great. The best part about this school i would have to say is the College and Career Preparatory Institute. This college preparedness program makes my high school feel a sense of pride, joy and just builds a close community within our school and the students within the program as well. This program is made to help inner city urban students of color prepare their college portfolio for success in a four year residential college. The academic groups for freshman, sophomores, juniors and seniors are extremely helpful for those in the program. The colleges trip, college essay workshops, midday seminars, career day where we practice interview skills and proper dress attire for a job interview and many more is one the many great things that CCPI offers to Randolph to participate in. We all encouraging each other for success. The performing arts aspect of this program is my favorite because very year we have our annual Winter Heritage Festival where many dance ensembles perform for the school, parents and faculty. The dance groups are categorized by different cultures such as West Indian, Urban, Desi, Modern and Contemporary and more. The performances at our school are unique, fun and just brings support to our students of color at our school. Students are allowed to express themselves through movement and its beautiful to watch on stage the amount of joy and merriment that exudes from the students. You can also see the amount of hard work that each and every person put into making these shows amazing including House management and the tech crew. CCPI is like my second family and it makes me cry every time knowing that this is my last year performing on that stage with my family. This is the best part of A. Philip Randolph Campus High School."
