"GREAT LARGE FUNCTIONING SCHOOL. LATEST TREND IN EDUCATION IS SMALL SCHOOL ARE THE ONLY WAY TO SUCCESS. LARGE SCHOOLS HAVE A PLACE IN THE PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM TOO. CARDOZO AND OTHER LARGE SCHOOLS LIKE IT CAN OFFER STUDENTS DIVERSE COURSES SELECTIONS AND EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES THAT SMALL SCHOOLS CAN NEVER OFFER. IF YOUR CHILD IS THE TYPE KID WHO NEEDS EXTRA HELP OR SUPPORT, THEN SEND THEM TO A SMALL SCHOOL WHERE EVERY ONE WILL NOW THEIR NAME. BUT IF YOUR KID IS INTO SPORTS AND CAN FUNCTION ACADEMICALLY WITH A LEVEL OF INDEPENDENCE THEN SEND THEN TO A LARGE HIGH SCHOOL WITH A RECORD OF EXCELLENCE LIKE CARDOZO. THIS SIZE SCHOOL IS WHAT STUDENTS WILL LIKELY ENCOUNTER WHEN THE KID GOES AWAY TO COLLEGE SO IN THAT REGARD IT IS HELPING TO PREPARE FOR LIFE AFTER HS. THE BOTTOM IS THAT PARENTS AND KIDS NEED CHOICES. BUT DON'T BASH A SCHOOL BECAUSE YOU DID NOT KNOW HOW TO MAKE A DECISION THAT WAS RIGHT FOR YOU AND YOUR KID---- JUST MAKE A BETTER DECISION AND SEND THEM TO A TRANSFER SCHOOL."

"It's not a great school after all. Most teachers are dedicated, but the school administration, student support staff, etc. are not there. You are on your own , sink or float. Send your child to a smaller school with better management and support team. With only 83% graduation rate, it's not a great school. 17 out 100 students are not getting their diplomas from Cardozo."

"I am currently a senior at this school and I've attended this school since I was a freshman, so you can trust me when I say that this is the one of the best schools in Queens, NY. There is a wide variety of classes to choose from and at many different levels: regular, honors, Davinci (for math and science only), AP. You can always challenge yourself. Also, the teachers for the most part are good and knowledgeable! If you are having trouble in class, many of the teachers are willing to tutor you during their break. This school really tries its best to prepare its students for the regents exam. During the Spring term, students may stay after school twice a week for extra regents help. These extra regents help classes are free and taught by actual teachers. If that's not enough, students having trouble in a class may sign up get tutored by an Arista student in the library during their free period. Arista is a special program at Cardozo for the students excelling in their classes and willing to commit hours to community service."

"I'm currently a junior and I can definitely tell you that the teachers at Cardozo are amazing and they let you get involved with everything pertaining to the subject matter and beyond. The students are interested in fully understanding the educational matter and will work diligently to achieve high scores. The school is dominantly a law-based high school, but there are two specialized programs: da Vinci and Law. In addition to the programs offered, many AP courses provided as well. The teachers won't hesitate to get to know your child, which, I believe, is the core of educational success. The student will feel welcome because there's always a place for the child to succeed both academically and socially. There's a club and team for nearly everything."

"every classes are packed over 30 studends. most of studends aren't able to sign in actitivities like sport teams and some of them got no attention at all from certaint teacher, but most of teachers are excellent with experience. A communication is weak between shool and parents. Your kids would get lost in the school if they aren't strong enough."
