"The academics thats offered at this school are thr basic class subjects nothing extra added lile.design , drama, technology etc its limited. Most teachers are very nice and engaged in what they teach and build relationships with students but there are a few that arent into what there assigned to at all, class scheduling sometimes is uneccesary they will give student classes that isnt needed , a waste of students time , the work.load was managable enough to undestand the topic that was taught for the day. Study options werent available really had to study on own terms and there was only one really popular class which was advisory because the teacher was.awesome and students were able to reflect on putside topics and personal.life issues through writing."

"My overall experience at this school was good and bad . The good part was certain classes i truly enjoyed because i was naturally interested in the subjects , i also enjoyed the holiday partys in the school including the bake sales we use to participate and the assemblys where special guests from other schools and organizations would come and perform. The bad parts were some teachers were very rude and had a lack of respect and intrest for the subject they were teaching and the students as well which made it discouraging ."

"High School for Arts, Imagination and Inquiry is a very small school. However, students, teachers, and staff are very united when it comes to academics. If a student asks for help either with school work or personal problems, teachers and staff are willing to use their own time to assist these students with their needs. Most of the teachers however are very autocratic and don't really allow students to give in their own creative ideas for lessons. There should be more foreign language classes to help students achieve an advanced regents diploma. Also, more electives would engage students to do well in classes."

"There are a few teachers who truly makes class enjoyable and always had something planned that was fun and made us students want to participate. The teachers also helped one on one during class which was a great thing , but there where some teachers that were frusrtated and didnt make the lesson interesting mostly teach and complete our worksheets. Grading sometimes would get mixed up due to teachers losing students.completed class work , but.most of the time grading was fair."

"Many teachers genuinely care about a students grades and emotions. If teachers see that something is wrong they try to help or try to understand. However, during class there are some teachers that lose patience very easily and automatically tell students to get out of the classroom and just send them to the deans office."
