"Center is a small school in a small town with a big heart. My son entered the school district in the 8th grade. He transfered here from a private Catholic School in NYC. Academics were compatible and the student body accepting. Teachers are responsive and there is plenty of community and parent involvement. Great athletics and fun drama program. Lots for the kids to get involved in should they choose to. Safe, caring and diverse environment any child can thrive in. My only gripe which is minor is that Center is behind in technology for parents (accessing grades and teacher/parent e-mails and class e-boards). All in all as a family we have enoyed our time here."

"Center Moriches is a great school that strives for excellence everyday! While other good Long Island schools are falling apart, Center Moriches is up and coming in terms of class offerings, sports, technology and school pride in general!!!"

"With it's small class sizes and dedicated staff this school continues to exceed expectations. It has increased it's AP and Honors course offerings, expanded it's sports programs and continues to look for new avenues in order to further improve."

"this is one of the worst schools ever it should be shut down sometimes the middle school will run out of food and drinks while the high school has plenty and if you dont eat pork or beef then you will stave because they will not help you also the education there is poor and most teachers have anger problems"
